How this is calculated
The flight duration is the same great-circle estimate used by the flight time calculator: the shortest possible path between the two airports' coordinates, a typical cruise speed, and a flat allowance for taxi, takeoff, climb, and descent. It is not a schedule, real flights follow published airways and get rerouted around weather and traffic, so treat the arrival time as a solid ballpark, not a boarding-pass guarantee.
The local arrival time comes from converting your departure time to a single moment in UTC, adding the estimated duration, then reading that moment back on the destination's clock, using each airport's IANA time zone. Because you gave a specific calendar date, this correctly picks up whichever daylight saving rule applies on that date at both ends. The one edge case: if the departure falls inside the hour a clock actually springs forward or falls back, the local offset can be ambiguous by up to an hour. That's rare, and worth knowing rather than worrying about.
